Artist: T. Sautelle Roberts. Born in Waterford City in 1760, T. Sautelle Roberts studied architectural training before becoming a landscape artist like his older brother Thomas. Following the early death of the latter in 1778, Sautelle assumed his brother's name of Thomas. Well regarded by his fellow artists, T. Sautelle sustained a coaching accident in London in 1818 and was unable to continue painting following damage to his shoulder. He died in 1826.
